FIELD: means for keeping and carrying of individual firearm, applicable for bringing the pistols of various systems with a loaded magazine to the full combat readiness by one hand.
SUBSTANCE: the method consists in feeding of the cartridge to the line of feeding to the cartridge chamber by displacement of the slide by motion of the pistol in the holster longitudinal axis. Displacement of the slide is accomplished with overtaking of the pistol receiver by pistol motion in the direction opposite its motion in the holster. The holster is made for bringing the pistol placed in it to the combat readiness. The holster has a body and a lock engageable with the body boss. The holster is provided with an insert under the barrel section enveloping the slide and installed for displacement together with it in the holster longitudinal axis, and with an overtaking cocking mechanism made for provision of motion of the insert with the slide at an extraction of the pistol from the holster with overtaking of motion of its receiver. The overtaking-cocking mechanism is rigidly coupled to the holster body, and freely coupled to the insert, a coupling component is installed on it coupled to which is the holster lock.
EFFECT: provided effective method of bringing the pistol to the combat readiness at its extraction, from the holster by one hand with a motion habitual for the user with minimum expenditures of time for making a shot.
