HOLSTER Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: applicable for carrying of small arms, may be used for placement of various systems of weapon sizes in the holster, designed for bringing the pistol to the full combat readiness at an extraction from the holster with the use of one hand.

SUBSTANCE: the holster for the pistol has a shoulder made in the form of an arc in cross section with formation of a groove along the shoulder for the pistol handle and provision of pistol movement in the shoulder for bringing to the full combat readiness at an extraction from the holster and the hole for the barrel at the end face of the shoulder. The shoulder is provided with a fixed lower part with a thrust wall for the trigger bow, mechanism for return of the lower movable part of the shoulder to the initial position and a means for holding the pistol in the holster. The lower movable part is mounted on the shoulder for forward longitudinal movement of the pistol when bringing it to the combat readiness at extraction from the holster, it is installed before the pistol handle and connects its walls in the area of the breechblock and the trigger bow.

EFFECT: enhanced universality of the holster and reliability of pistol holding in any position of the shooter.
