FIELD: commercial fishery, in particular, equipment used in fishery farms for rearing of sturgeons, more particular, taking of spawn in sturgeon's lifetime.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has stem equipped with cutting end and is additionally provided with hollow cylinder equipped at its upper part with head having cross-like central recess, and at its lower part with handle having two rings for operator's fingers. There is guiding opening for stem in central part of cylinder base, said stem being introduced with its cutting end into cylinder cavity for reciprocation therein. Cutting end of stem is made in the form of four blades arranged in cross-like manner and coaxially to head recess for withdrawal therefrom. Other end of stem is equipped with punch. Return spring is located on outer part of stem between lower base of cylinder and punch.
EFFECT: increased efficiency by restricting incision of female's oviduct to minimal biologically necessary size, elimination of excessive injury and reduced death rate of sturgeon females, and provision for retention of quality of fish spawn.
