FIELD: fishery, in particular, artificial rearing of sturgeon fishes.
SUBSTANCE: method involves catching sires; stimulating spawn maturation by providing hypophyseal injections; opening abdominal cavity by making cut in caudal part, at a distance from genital opening; extracting spawn and sewing abdomen using surgical suture. Spawn is extracted at least three times: first extraction is performed by opening of abdominal cavity, following extraction procedures being performed through genital opening, at time intervals of 0.5-2 hours. Cut made during opening is formed as C-shaped 3-4 cm long cut provided at distance of 3-5 cm from genital opening. Method allows fish spawn to be obtained using non-injurious process.
EFFECT: increased efficiency by reduced risk of infecting fish, intensified healing of wound surface of suture after extraction of spawn and provision for retention of sires.
