FIELD: medicine, traumatology, orthopedics.

SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with internal fixation of adjacent vertebrae against a traumatized one with the help of special device for osteosynthesis at introducing screws into vertebral bodies through the roots of arches. The novelty of the method lies in the fact that intraoperation longitudinal distraction of traumatized vertebral department should be conducted with the above-mentioned device for osteosynthesis at controlled local kyphosis at 10-15° after predissecting supraspinal and interspinal ligaments of traumatized vertebral segment, or laminectomy of affected vertebra and arthrotomy of intervertebral articulations that provides selective distraction impact upon posterior longitudinal ligament, increases distractional effort upon posterior departments of the column, increase efficiency of repositional impacts upon the fragments of posterior departments in the body of traumatized vertebra in case of comminuted fractures due to ligamentotaxis, increase efficiency of indirect anterior decompression of dural sac in case of comminuted fractures in thoracic and lumbar departments of vertebral column.
