FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has head, pedicle, neck, acetabular part and spherical body. The neck portion is conically narrowing towards the head part and has spherical base. The acetabular part has recess for receiving the spherical neck base, and sleeve enclosing the neck part. The spherical base and recess are congruent to each other. The neck is joined to the spherical body. The head has spherical cavity for receiving the spherical body and locking ring with an opening for the neck. The neck in the sleeve and locking ring, spherical body in spherical cavity, sleeve- and locking ring end faces are arranged with space of uniform width filled with flexible washer. The space and washer are ring-shaped.
EFFECT: enabled heterodirected head and neck part deflections relative to neck axis; reduced flexible washer wear.
