FIELD: oil industry, particularly enhanced recovery methods for obtaining hydrocarbons by oil displacing with water.
SUBSTANCE: method involves performing geological production well survey and formation fluid and porous media laboratory research; plotting initial net oil map; recovering residual oil net pay field with taking into consideration initial oil stock, accumulated oil volumes and fluid produced from each producing well and fluid volume injected in each injection well, as well as contributions made by operating wells in residual oil net pay field forming; performing geological production survey in some producing and injection wells to determine productive and non-productive pools; statistically treating above geological production survey results and well operation parameters to detect well operation parameter values, which characterize pool operation and non-operation regimes; determining operating and non-operating pools in all wells during all reporting periods of well operation on the base of above parameter values; distributing current and accumulated fluid and/or current and accumulated medium to be injected; plotting initial net oil maps by determined working pools for each pool; calculating initial oil reserves in each pool of each well from the maps and determining initial oil reserve usage factor from formulas; analyzing accumulated produced oil, fluid and medium to be injected distribution among separate wells from obtained data; recovering residual oil net pay fields in each pool and plotting corresponding maps for each pool; superposing the maps to obtain three-dimensional model describing residual oil net pays of stacked pool deposit.
