SUBSTANCE: device has first body, second body, matrix indicator and controller, connected to matrix indicator. Controller includes module for determining change of field, configured for determining change of field through matrix sensor, and module for adjusting working characteristic, configured for adjusting device operation parameter on basis of position of second body. Method includes stages for determining position of second body and adjusting sensitivity of matrix sensor on basis of position of second body.
EFFECT: provision of comfortable data input for extended applications on mobile communication device.
