FIELD: mechanical engineering; packing materials.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device contains two stamping rolls, one of which is connected to drive. Said rolls can be set into motion either separately or together, they are adapted to provide elastic pressing onto each other, and pyramid-shaped or conical teeth of rolls are provided with cut off tops. Teeth T2 of at least one roll differ in geometrical form and/or surface from teeth T1 designed for polishing. Teeth T2 stamp signs L in corresponding places of packing foil passing between rolls, surface of stamped signs provides change of external appearance of signs depending on angle of observation O and/or type, and/or position of light source LS. Proposed invention relates also to metallized and/or reflecting packing foil obtained using proposed device.
EFFECT: provision of polishing and stamping device for stamping signs (patterns) on flat material providing optical effects depending on position of observer and/or source of light and forming protection elements difficult to imitate.
