FIELD: petroleum processing industry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves at first effect by laser radiation on gasoline flow wherein radiation is modulated by a chiral object. Then gasoline is accelerated before its entry into working region of the second chiral object wherein gasoline is subjected for effect of its own spontaneous radiation transformed by the second chiral object at frequencies corresponding to the resonance absorption of gasoline and after inversely entry in gasoline flow causes the molecular transformation of gasoline by alternating the chemical composition of gasoline. This provides isomerization and increasing part of aromatic hydrocarbons resulting to increasing the octane number. Method is carried out at room temperature that reduces the necessary equipment and energy consumption. The refining process rate depends on time of molecular transformation only occurring in gasoline with improvement of exploitation indices of gasoline and simplifying control and operation by the process. Invention can be used for enhancing detonation stability of motor flues, in particular, gasoline.
EFFECT: improved method for octane number increasing.
