FIELD: petroleum processing.
SUBSTANCE: method involves irradiating gasoline with laser electromagnetic emission, accelerating gasoline when passed through working zone, modulating emission, and transformation of gasoline. Laser emission gets into working zone of optic filter directly through accelerating gasoline wherein, being partially reflected from inner semitransparent and structured filter wall and partially passing through it, laser emission partially diffracts. Further, when reflected from outer filter wall, emission falls onto inner wall wherein it is partially reflected once again, partially passes, and partially diffracts. Yet further, emission interferes with initially reflected emission and is modulated in accelerated gasoline flow.
EFFECT: simplified gasoline octane number raise process, reduced number of cycles or entirely suppressed cycling, and enhanced efficiency due to larger length of working zone.
