SUBSTANCE: method for producing of substance for protective coating involves producing mixture of components (serpentinite, syenitic concentrate, titanite concentrate, columbite, rare earth components - lanthanum, zerium, and neodymium, cesium and rubidium halogenides, osmiridium, ethylene-diamine-tetraacetic acid-disodium salt-dihydrate); forming in mixture polycrystalline complexes comprising inverted micellar catalytic systems by hydrothermal synthesis in autoclave through exposing to temperature and pressure. Method for creating of protective coating on surface involves applying protective coating produced by above method onto surface to be protected.

EFFECT: provision for creating corrosion resistant, scorch-free frictional and antifrictional coating, and improved wear compensation and recovering of initial geometric shape of contacting surfaces, including cutting edges of tools.
