FIELD: quantum physics; photodissociation LASERS and laser systems for generating electromagnetic radiation pulses.
SUBSTANCE: explosive charge is fired at point of flat-truncated cone base. Working medium is placed in cylindrical capsule and the latter is disposed in parallel with truncated cone axis in common plane of the latter and of explosive charge firing point at distance L from this explosive charge firing point. Photodissociation laser has explosive charge in the form of flat-truncated cone with remote-control detector. Charge encloses cylindrical capsule. Method for adjusting photodissociation laser includes generation of laser beam parallel to axis of explosive charge in the form of truncated cone, orificing of central part of generated beam, and alignment of reflecting-component central area with optical axis of orificed laser beam. Adjusting device has laser beam source, semitransparent laser plate, and photodetector. Laser system has N pairs of photodissociation lasers joined through butt-ends of their working cambers accommodating explosive charges in the form of truncated cone with remote-control detector on their bases. Method for controlling laser system includes generation of collimated electromagnetic radiation beam and division of collimated beam into N sub-beams.
EFFECT: facilitated manufacture, reduced cost, enhanced performance characteristics, ability of adjusting layout and disposition of optical components.
