FIELD: quantum physics; producing laser systems for generating electromagnetic radiation pulse.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method for pumping photodissociation laser depends on firing explosive charge in the form of truncated cone over closed ring circuit on its larger end. For implementing this method laser has working chamber holding main explosive charge in the form of truncated cone and additional explosive charge in the form of funnel. Additional explosive charge is mounted for remote impact on large end surface of main explosive charge through its base. Additional explosive charge is fired by means of remote-control detector. The latter is disposed in vicinity of additional explosive charge vortex.
EFFECT: enhanced density of electromagnetic radiation pulse being generated, simplified design of laser.
