FIELD: quantum physics; lasing systems built around associative photogenerators.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes generation of convergent shock wave and divergent shock wave with leading edge coaxial to convergent shock wave front. Electromagnetic radiation pulse is generated in shock wave convergence region in the form of thin-walled cylinder for its next conversion into annular-section pulse. Laser has additional explosive material charge in the firm of hollow cone with remote-control receiver at its vertex installed inside and coaxially to truncated cone of main explosive material charge. Proposed method for laser control includes generation of electromagnetic radiation parallel beam, its collimation, and conversion into annular-section beam. Control signals are supplied with time delay relative to each other. Laser control system has parallel electromagnetic radiation beam source, main collimator, three flat mirrors, semi-reflecting mirror, additional collimator, and two electrooptic gates.
EFFECT: enhanced power density of electromagnetic radiation.
