FIELD: electrical engineering; heating devices.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device that can be used under industrial conditions, for instance in solid-phase polycondensation reactors for producing polyethylene terephthalate has shell accommodating contact posts, spiral, insulating filler, and contact post sealing unit with insulators and sealing material. In addition electric heater is provided with tight sleeve holding tubular heater shell; space between shell and tight sleeve space is filled with salt. For instance, in polyethylene terephthalate production use can be made in solid-phase polycondensation reactor of nitroso salt ([NO]2S2O3).
EFFECT: reduced power requirement due to more efficient heating circuit and constant temperature maintained within reactor.
