FIELD: electrical engineering; tubular electric heaters for domestic appliances and industrial installations.
SUBSTANCE: proposed tubular electric heater has housing with outwardly and inwardly threaded locating flange, sealing assembly for contact pins in the form of outwardly threaded cylindrical nozzle secured in locating flange with aid of nut; nozzle has two holes parallel to its axis; insulators are disposed on one end of nozzle; contact pins are fixed in position in holes of nozzle and insulators with aid of alabaster, cement, and quartz sand mixture; locating flange is free to axially move relative to nozzle; heating element can be installed in practically all suitably threaded seating places. Effective breathing and comparatively simple mechanical design of proposed heater make it suitable for use in various liquid heating apparatuses for guaranteed service life of minimum 2 years.
EFFECT: simplified design, enlarged functional capabilities, enhanced reliability and service life.
