FIELD: onboard indicators of flying vehicles; piloting of flying vehicles at night.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes measurement of color coordinates of main colors of onboard indicator, selecting of coordinates of color located in red and green areas of spectral insensitivity of night vision goggles which belongs to triangle of onboard indicator color coverage. Then deviation from respective measured color coordinates of main red and main green colors of onboard indicator is calculated. Data thus obtained are used for forming corrections to intensity of RGB signals of main red and main green colors. These corrections are introduced into respective RGB signals.
EFFECT: enhanced compatibility of onboard indicator and pilot's goggles at night flights.
