FIELD: capping means for open end-type containers.
SUBSTANCE: repeatedly sealable capping device has cover equipped with dispensing opening, sealing flap movable between initial capping position relative to dispensing opening, with axial compression force resulted from pressure difference within container and environmental atmosphere compressing sealing flap to perimeter of dispensing opening on sealing surface, when said sealing flap is in capping state, and uncapped position. Sealing device is further provided with pressure equalizing opening formed through at least sealing flap or cover for equalizing of inner pressure within beverage container with atmospheric pressure and for reducing of compressive force before sealing flap moves from capping position to uncapped position. Method for repeated opening and closing of container involves opening pressure equalizing opening to thereby enable equalization of inner pressure within container with surrounding atmospheric pressure; moving sealing flap from initial capping position to uncapped position.
EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing repeated opening and closing of beverage container.
