FIELD: ceramics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacture of various-destination profiled with zero or close to zero porosity operated under complicated climatic conditions. To that end, powderlike graphite is added to aqueous quartz ceramics slurry with boron-containing additive in amount 0.5 to 10 % based on the weight of solid phase, after which products are baked in air atmosphere in two steps: first at 900-1100°C for 1-3 h and then at 1240-1270°C for 1-3 h.
EFFECT: enabled manufacture of products with poreless outside layer all along outline of profiled product and simplified technology of manufacturing such products.
