FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technologies of obtaining inorganic fibrous and ceramic materials based on quartz glass with regulated density, porosity, dielectric permeability and other qualities. Method of obtaining inorganic material based on quartz glass with regulated density by means of changing solid phase concentration in water suspension of quartz glass includes dispergation, milting and wet milling in ball mill of fibrous raw material to particles of size 0.1-500 mcm. Introduction into water of fibrous suspension of water slip of quartz glass of similar grain composition till density 1.50-1.87 g/cm3 is obtained, content of fibre in suspension constitutes from 5 to 95 wt %. Then formation of products by method of water slip casting, their drying and burning are carried out.

EFFECT: development of method of obtaining inorganic materials based on quartz glass with regulated density in range from 1,2 to 2,0 g/cm3 applying of simplest in ceramic technology method of water slip casting.
