FIELD: ferrous metallurgy; blast-furnace process; loading charge materials into blast furnace.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes loading part of iron ore charge and part of fuel consisting of coke and coal into furnace and adjustment of consumption of coke and coal during loading. Coal of fraction 40-150 mm in the amount of 80-90 kg/t of cast iron is loaded into central part of blast furnace. Proposed method ensures smooth run of blast furnace increasing its output by 0.9-1.0% and decreasing consumption of coke by 2.3-3.0%.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
