SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method for determination and setting of the moment for replacement of high-wear parts or a sealing liquid and/or aromatic and cleaning substances depending on usage of a urinal. An indicator element is chemically or physically arranged so that after the specified number of urinal usages and as a result of the appropriate number of wetting operations it is fully decomposed and/or changes its colour in the process of usage at least in the field of contact with a cover. Colour change is visible outside through the cover. The indicator element is arranged directly under the water-impermeable and at least partially transparent cover open to the bottom. The cover with the indicator element arranged underneath is installed in the urinal on legs above a receiving funnel of a drain hole at the distance from it in the vertical direction. Colour change is that indicator, which draws attention of maintenance personnel at the moment of valve replacement. Simultaneously cleaning and biologically decomposing substances may also be added to the indicator element.
