FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, devices used in combine or mower cutter bars.
SUBSTANCE: mower knife section is made in the form of symmetrical trapezium-shaped parts with cutting edges whose sharpened portion is made in the form of succession of sharpened portions extending along the entire length of blade of cutting edges, at an acute angle to plane of section. Diameter of sharpened portion is selected so that number of sharpened portions along the entire length of blade of each cutting edge is even number. Bore is formed at junction site of two symmetrical trapezium-shaped parts of section, said bore being made in the form of, for example, round opening and is continuously joined with both blades.
EFFECT: reduced losses of cut mass owing to decreased transverse folding of stems and improved quality of cut.
