FIELD: mining industry, possible use during underground extraction of flat-lying and inclined coal beds of low and average thickness.
SUBSTANCE: method includes driving a complex of panel or level mines, preparing extraction field by advance driving of transport gallery at the beginning in form of coal chamber, and then increasing section due to extraction of surrounding rock. From coal chamber below transport gallery hollows are drilled at an angle to gallery, in which rock is then stacked until next slashing of surrounding rock. Section of coal chamber is increased up to width of gallery on both sides of extraction field, combining in time operations for driving a splitting furnace and for mounting cleaning equipment in same.
EFFECT: increased industrial power of portion, increased quality and decreased losses of extracted coal.
