FIELD: mining industry, possible use for underground processing of coal formations.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to invention, complex of panel or level mines is driven, extraction field is prepared by advance driving of transporting drift at the beginning in form of coal chamber, and then increase of its cross-section at the expense of extracted enveloping rock. Hollows are drilled from coal chamber in body below transport drift at an angle to it, in which rock from slashing of enveloping rock is stored. Some hollows are left empty for ventilation during extraction of lower face.
EFFECT: decreased losses of coal in bodies, decreased dilution of coal by rock from driving and maintenance of drifts, accelerated preparation of extraction field, increased productiveness of shaft.
