FIELD: turbine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for use in turbine shaft lines. Proposed journal-thrust bearing contains thrust blocks arranged at both sides of support surface of insert mating through spherical surface with bearing race. Insert is provided with radial ring projections between which thrust blocks with working surfaces pointed to each other are installed. Diameter of support surface of insert exceeds root diameter of blocks. Such design of bearing increases diameter of support surface with out increase of outer (peripheral) diameter of blocks and prevents getting of used oil from support surface to working surfaces of blocks.
EFFECT: increased carrying capacity and reliability of journal-thrust bearing.
