FIELD: measuring technique.
SUBSTANCE: device can be used for measurement of aerodynamic force vector's components and of moment acting on flying vehicles models inside aerodynamic tube flux. Device has multi-component tensometric balance tightly connected with tested model, support in form of band suspension which has nose and tale parts. Intermediate frame is mounted among supports and tensometric balance. Frame is made in form of fork with segment-shaped teeth, among which teeth the flat-structured tensometric balance is mounted. Teeth together with balance form circle with D diameter at cross-section. Lateral size b of balance, related to diameter D of mentioned circle as b/D=0,45-0,55. Frame rests against nose and tale bands by means of two bushings. One bushing connects nose band with base of fork, and the other one goes through balance and connects tail bands with teeth of fork to form a ring-shaped gap between balance and bushing. Size of gap is chosen bigger than maximal considered deformation of balance and frame being under load. Precision of measurement is improved due to elimination of effect of bands' degree of tension and aerodynamic forces on results of measurement.
