FIELD: aero-mechanical measurements.
SUBSTANCE: tensometric balance can be used for measurement of components of aerodynamic force and of moment which are affective at flying vehicle model in aerodynamic tube flux. Device has dynamometric member for measuring longitudinal component of aerodynamic force vector, which member has movable and motionless bases divided by slant cut and by two side vertical grooves connected together by means of four packages of resilient hinges disposed in vertical, and two sensitive elements. Two horizontal resilient hinges are introduced additionally into vertical grooves. One end of any hinge is connected with movable base and the other one - motionless base. Cross-section of one or several vertical resilient hinges in each package is made variable in length in such a manner that narrowed part of vertical resilient hinge relates to root part of the hinge as 0,5-1. Lengths of horizontal resilient hinges are chosen to be bigger than lengths of vertical resilient hinges.
EFFECT: reduced stresses at construction members of balance; improved safety margin; widened range of modeling of flight conditions.
