FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerodynamic measurements and can be used to measure components of force and moment vectors acting on model of aircrafts, vessels tested in wind tunnels, basins and hydraulic channels. Multicomponent tensometric balance comprises dynamometric elements from beams parallel to common longitudinal axis of balance, with measuring bridges from strain gauges, in which one of the dynamometric elements – four-component for measurement of components of force and moment vectors Y, MZ and Z, MY – is made of two pairs of symmetrical beams with longitudinal ribs or packs of beams with longitudinal ribs with a pitch of ribs along circumference of 90 degrees, at that, measuring bridges from strain gauges are glued to ribs, and geometrical parameters of cross-section and length of beams or their packages are selected to provide transfer of the origin to the specified point in accordance with the formula. Longitudinal sections are made in the beams.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy of measurement of components of vectors of aerodynamic force and torque multicomponent tensometric balance, reduced labor intensity of manufacture and metal capacity of balance.
