FIELD: physics; radio circuits for linear detection of amplitude-modulated oscillations.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device is built around square-section ferrite ring one of whose halves mounts ribbon electrodes on each of its faces and other half carries solenoid coil, amplitude-modulated oscillations being fed to inputs of first and second resonance-tunes amplifiers through +45 and -45 deg. phase-shifting circuits, respectively; output of first resonance-tuned amplifier is connected to one pair of ribbon electrodes disposed in opposition on ferrite ring; output of second resonance-tuned amplifier is connected to other pair of ribbon electrodes disposed in opposition on ferrite ring; linearly detected output oscillation is excited in solenoid coil.
EFFECT: enhanced linearity of amplitude-modulated oscillation detection at relatively low frequency of carrier waves of up to a few megahertz.
