FIELD: equipment for mixing of various media, in particular, working tools adapted for rotation within immovable reservoir for mixing of paint and varnish mixtures.

SUBSTANCE: mixer has rod and working tool fixed at its one end within supports and defined by curved blades. Working tool consists of two parts, with blades of each part defining cupola with flange of maximal diameter and being additionally curved in longitudinal direction and turned relative to their longitudinal axes. Cupolas are connected with one another through flanges. Blades of one cupola may be radially offset with respect to blades of other cupola by an angle of up to 90 deg, in particular, by an angle of 20 deg. Both cupolas are made similar. Mixer may be also equipped with suspension holder made in the form of suspension loop and bushing with opening for insertion therein of other end of rod so as to periodically move the latter in its tensed state.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in mixing of various media owing to increased quality and intensified mixing process by formation of tore-shaped vortex flow of mixed media, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation.
