FIELD: friable material grinding equipment.

SUBSTANCE: roll-type grinder has casing with basic material feeding hopper, rolls placed within casing for rotation in opposite directions and equipped with bandages having cutting members, which are positioned so that cutting members of each roll are disposed between cutting members of other roll to define ground material passage gap. Width of cutting members provided on one roll is greater than width of cutting members provided on other roll to define ground material passage gaps of different width. Rolls are positioned so that distance therebetween may be adjusted.

EFFECT: increased yield of ground product, minimal excessive grinding and provision for retaining integrity of valuable components of ground product.
