FIELD: rolled tube production processes and equipment, namely improved design of converter of mechanism for feeding and rotating in tube cold rolling mill.
SUBSTANCE: converter includes housing in which are arranged: inlet shaft with sun gear; crown; satellites engaged with crown and with sun gear and having cranks carrying their carrier; slide fit onto cranks; outlet shaft with link disc having radial grooves embracing slides. Converter is provided with intermediate shaft arranged in parallel relative to axis of inlet shaft having additional journal. Outlet shaft with link disc is hollow, concentric to inlet shaft and it is mounted on additional journal in bearing assemblies. Crown has stem jointly mounted in intermediate shaft.
EFFECT: improved design of mechanism providing increased strength and rigidity of converter, easy assembling of converter, simplified structure and enhanced accuracy of housing of converter, increased useful life period of feeding and rotating mechanism.
