FIELD: water treatment processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water disinfection methods and can be used to disinfect water in drinking and reuse water supply systems as well as when treating water for manufacture of various drinks. Bactericidal activity of hydrogen peroxide is enhanced by bringing hydrogen peroxide-treated water into contact with flotation cinder - sulfuric acid production waste preliminarily subjected to crushing and isolation of fraction 0.1-0.5 cm. Flotation cinder can contain iron, copper, zinc, silver, cobalt, and selenium.
EFFECT: enhanced economical efficiency of process without loss in disinfecting efficiency of water.
