FIELD: glass industry.
SUBSTANCE: mold for producing glass articles is made from austenite ductile Ni-resist cast iron composed of, wt %: carbon 1.50-2.40, silicon 1.00-2.80, manganese 0.05-1.00, nickel 34.00-36.00, chromium 0.00-0.10, molybdenum 0.00-0.80, magnesium 0.01-0.04, titanium 0.01-0.25, sulfur 0.00-0.01, phosphorus 0.00-0.08, and iron - the rest. Mold is cast from cast iron having indicated chemical analysis, while selectively controlling magnesium, titanium, and sulfur contents.
EFFECT: ensured stability of microstructure, increased wear resistance and resistance to cracking when exposed to heat cycle.
