FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used for production of moulded tooling, namely punch for production of glass articles. Punch for production of glass containers is made from copper-nickel alloy containing, wt.%: copper 53.0–57.5, nickel 24.0–25.0, zinc 7.0–8.0, aluminium 6.5–7.5, silicon 1.5–2.0, manganese 1.2–1.5, iron 1.0–1.5, chromium 1.0–1.5, tin ≤ 0.1, lead ≤ 0.1, antimony ≤ 0.1.
EFFECT: punch has hardness of 24–29 HRC, thermal conductivity in range of 500–600 °C λ=60–65 W/(m·K) and service life at temperatures up to 600 °C up to 500,000 moulding cycles.
