FIELD: rocketry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to development and manufacture of igniters of solid-propellant charges. Proposed solid-propellant charge igniter has cylindrical housing made of polymeric film with weighted amount of igniting component placed inside. Housing of igniter is made of polymeric film featuring high extension coefficient and reinforced at bottom and side surface by cover plates made of reinforcement film. Method of making of solid-propellant charge igniter includes vacuum molding of housing from polymeric film with extension coefficient. Housing of igniter is reinforced by preliminarily cut out cover plates made of reinforcement film. Reinforcement film cover plates are coordinated, for instance, using flat template web of film featuring high extension coefficient. Then cover plates made of reinforcement film are attached to film with high extension coefficient. Then blank, thus formed, is orientated relative to die of igniter housing, and vacuum molding is carried out.
EFFECT: improved operation reliability of solid-propellant charge igniter.
