FIELD: rocketry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at designed and manufacturing of igniters for solid-propellant chargers of rocket engines, gas generators and powder pressure accumulators. Proposed charge igniter contains housing filled with weighted amount of igniting compound, and sealing cover. Housing is provided with at least two thin-walled combustion intersection partitions forming cellular structure of housing space with sections filled up with ignition compound.
EFFECT: improved reliability of ignition of weight amount of igniting compound owing to guaranteed getting of explosive cartridge jet forced directly into ignition compound at any orientation of explosive cartridge relative to housing of igniter.
