Abstract RU 2288414 C1

FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: furnace comprises housing, bottom, arch, devices for charging metal and discharging melt, lance for supplying air, gas duct for discharging exhaust gases and sublimate of antimony trioxide, device for heating the furnace made of gas burner, and hardening chamber. The inner side of the hardening chamber is connected with the gas duct and with the port in the furnace arch through the detachable neck. The port is provided with the adapting flange. The inserts are interposed between the detachable neck and adapting flange. From the side of the face, the top section of the hardening chamber is provided with the branch pipes for sucking atmospheric air. The top branch pipes are provided with rotating gates. The device for heating furnace is provided with the refractory prechamber and is used as a blowing lance. The area of the section of the mouth of the prechamber is 0.4-0.8 of the area of the free section of the detachable neck. The area of the free section of the neck is equal to 0.06-0.18 of the area of the bottom. The furnace may be provided with three blowing lance. The first lance is vertical and mounted on the roof coaxially to the burner at a distance of 300-400 mm from the mouth of the prechamber of the burner. The second and third lances are sloping and mounted in the vicinity of the opposite face of the furnace under an angle of 45° to the bottom. The mouth of the sloping lances are located at a distance of 400-500 mm from the bottom. The slot space is provided between the faces of the detachable neck and adapting flange of the arch port . The space is equal to the 5-6 mm and is used for flowing the atmospheric air to the hardening chamber.
