FIELD: measuring technique.

SUBSTANCE: optical device for measuring diameter and for checking internal profile of large-sized items has lens barrel with transmitting lenses, eye-piece, objective provided with lens, supports and lighting system. Device is also equipped with stiff girder which is fixed at edges of tested item for rotation around its axis. Moreover device has holder made for movement along girder. Holder interacts with plank fixed onto tube barrel of objective through movement detector and supports which are made spring-loaded. Plank is equipped with two laser pointers mounted at angle to each other at equal distance from prism of objective. Girder is provided with tension unit which is made for shift along girder simultaneously with holder. Tension unit is connected by means of rope with spring-loaded supports of holder and it is also provided with additional spring-loaded support connected with tube barrel. Distance to tested surface is measured without making contact with it.

EFFECT: improved precision of measurement.
