FIELD: chemical power supplies; stand-by current sources with alkali electrolyte formed by dissolving dry alkali with sea water.

SUBSTANCE: proposed anode is independent structure available of two design alternates. Its first design alternate is aluminum alloy base anode having electricity conducting substrate in the form of silver coating, 5 - 50 μm thick. Its second design alternate is aluminum alloy base anode having electricity conducting substrate in the form of coating of copper and silver layers, their thickness ratio being (2-20) ": 1, respectively.

EFFECT: enhanced discharge characteristics of anode due to reduced ohmic voltage drop.
