FIELD: acceleration engineering; developing and improving cyclic induction accelerators.
SUBSTANCE: acceleration chamber has two outside coils disposed on its equilibrium orbit radius, one coil at each end; each coil is connected to additional power supply that builds dc (quasi-constant) current in each of them during acceleration cycle, amplitude of this current being equal to or higher than half the amplitude of electron current being accelerated and its direction being reverse to its motion.
EFFECT: ability of retaining axial size of stability region, greatly reduced electron loss in the course of acceleration.
