FIELD: medicine, neurosurgery.
SUBSTANCE: at the level of thoracic vertebrae it is necessary to isolate an intercostals nerve, at the level of lumbar ones - a lumbar nerve to dissect their distal ends, as for central ends they should be brought together and sutured. Then intraoperationally one should cut spinal cord between the above-mentioned levels of vertebrae and after regeneration of sutured nerves it is necessary to observe the reconstruction of the functions of skin, muscles and inferior limbs. The innovation enables to obtain experimental model for studying reconstructive processes in the functions of skin, muscles and inferior limbs.
