FIELD: medicine, neurosurgery.
SUBSTANCE: one should intersectingly suture central ends of tibial and fibular nerves with their peripheral sectors. Moreover, it is important to apply interneural anastomoses between central sector of subcostal nerve and peripheral sector of femoral nerve. Then one should suture central sector of iliohypogastric nerve with peripheral sector of sciatic one. The innovation enables to reconstruct the functions of nervous impulses conductivity in case of affected lumbar segments of spinal cord at LII-LIV level and, also, in case of traumatic lesion of radicular departments of femoral and sciatic nerves in lumbar and sacral areas.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
