METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF THE LUMP SUGAR MASSECUITE OUT OF THE CANE-SUGAR RAW Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC C13F1/02 

FIELD: sugar industry; methods of production of the purified massecuite from cane-sugar raw.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the sugar industry. The offered method provides for affination of the raw sugar, liquoring of the affinated raw sugar up to the contents in the melt sugar liquor of 38-42 % of the dry substances, its defecation up to achievement in it of pH equal to 7.5-8.5 and decolorization of the defecated melt sugar liquors by the active powdery charcoal in two stages with a filtration between them. On the first stage the active charcoal is introduced in amount of 0.2-0.6 %, and on the second phase it is fed in the filtered defecated melt sugar liquor in amount of 0.1-0.4 % to its mass. On the second stage of a decolorization the charcoal is introduced mixed with the ground cation exchanger in H+ form in amount of 0.1-0.2 % to the mass of the melt sugar liquor and the purification process of the melt sugar liquor is conducted simultaneously with its decolorization by the active powdery charcoal. The filtered purified melt sugar liquor before its thickening is additionally subjected to decoloring by its gating through the layer of anionite, to thickening and then it is fed to boiling in the vacuum apparatus of the refining massecuite. The invention ensures an improvement of the quality of a scrubbing action of melt sugar liquor of the raw sugar acting on boiling of a refining massecuite strike, boosting of an output and an improvement of the quality of the refined sugar.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the improved quality of purification of the raw sugar melt sugar liquor and the increased output and quality of the refined sugar.
