FIELD: heat power engineering, applicable for lighting and stabilization of burning of coal-dust flame with the aid of an indirect-action plasma generator.
SUBSTANCE: the plant has a coal-dust fuel feed pipe-line, secondary air feed duct, central pipe. The central pipe is positioned with formation of a circular duct and is mounted in the bend of the coat-dust fuel feed pipe-line for its fixed longitudinal motion with the thermal power source in it. The plant is provided with an indirect action plasma generator. The plasma generator is installed for its longitudinal motion inside the central pipe with the aid of a rod. The rod end is brought out of the pipe end for engagement with the fixing mechanism. A converging tube with an aerofoil section in the longitudinal section is located on the side of the furnace. The converging tube is fastened on the central pipe with the aid of brackets. The passage area of the circular duct cut off by the converging tube makes up 0.4 to 0.5 of the passage area of the coal-dust fuel feed pipe-line. The plane of the converging tube minimum diameter coincides with the plane of the plasma generator anode nozzle at the instant of its maximum retraction.
EFFECT: improved mixing of the coal-dust fuel with air, reduced power consumption, reduced capital outlays.
