METHOD FOR EARLY DIAGNOSTICS OF PERINATAL LESION OF CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM IN NEONATALS Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC G01N33/52

Abstract RU 2289136 C2

FIELD: medicine, obstetrics, gynecology.

SUBSTANCE: the sample of amniotic liquid should be sampled due to vaginal amniotomy in the first stage of delivery at the moment of uterine cervix' opening for about 4-5 cm with the help of a needle for carrying out spinal puncture to detect the concentration of malonic dialdehyde. In case of increased concentration of malonic dialdehyde in amniotic liquid being above 4.50 mcM/l it is possible to diagnose perinatal lesion of central nervous system in neonatals. The innovation provides the chance to conduct therapy in due time. The method is simple and could be applied in screening survey of parturient women.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and accuracy of early diagnostics.
