FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: foetus is monitored 30 minutes before the delivery. An amniotic fluid is sampled. The sample taken in performing Cesarean section or in the first delivery period by vaginal amniotomy with 4-5 cm cervical dilatation using a spinal puncture needle. Then, the amniotic fluid is analysed for the concentrations of lactate, as well as protein or creatinine. If the measurement appears to be less than 3.5 points as shown by foetal monitorin 30 minutes before the delivery, as well as the amniotic fluid lactate concentration more than 14.0 mmole/l of lactate per 1 g/l of protein, or the amniotic fluid lactate concentration more than 0.05 mmole/l per 1 mcmole/l of creatinine, neonatal foetal hypoxia is diagnosed.
EFFECT: higher diagnostic accuracy for neonatal foetal hypoxia.
