METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF PERINATAL HYPOXIC CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM LESIONS IN NEWBORN CHILDREN Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC G01N33/53

Abstract RU 2542463 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: sRAGE is measured in the peripheral venous blood of a pregnant woman with threatening premature delivery in the time of 22-27 weeks. If the measured value is 659.5 pg/l or less, the perinatal hypoxic central nervous system lesions are predicted in the newborn children.

EFFECT: method is easy to implement and enables the high-accuracy prediction of the perinatal hypoxic CNS lesions in the time of 22-27 weeks of gestation when the foetus and newborn child are the most sensitive that promotes selecting the correct approach to the pregnant women, mode of delivery and reducing a rate of the given pathology.
